The yard
A new quarry on old mining ground.

Locally & family owned.
We're a family developing our own land on Highway 150 in Bessemer. It was once an iron ore mine, which is where the headframe in our logo comes from. Today it holds over a million tons of rock.
So we opened a yard. We're a new operation and an MSHA-certified one, and we'd rather show you what we've got than tell you about it.
How the rock gets sorted
A loader feeds unscreened rock into our screening plant, and a three-deck screen sorts it into four products at once. Those piles get sold or run again through different screens to make more sizes.
That setup lets us mix and match screens to make the size a job calls for, from fines to 6" rock.

Testing
Lab results at a glance.
Independent labs have tested samples of our stone. Here are selected results for your estimator or engineer. Results apply only to the samples tested.
All of our rock is sized to spec. It's not ALDOT-approved. Check these results against your job's spec.
